भीमसेनस्य प्रतिघातः—भगदत्तगजप्रहारः—घटोत्कचमायायुद्धम्

नानाशस्त्रौससम्पन्नैर्नानादेश्यैर्नपैर्वत: । तदन्वेव विराटश्न द्रपदश्च॒ महारथ:
sañjaya uvāca |
nānāśastrauṣa-sampannair nānādeśyair nṛpair vṛtaḥ |
tadanveva virāṭaś ca drupadaś ca mahārathaḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: Chàng được vây quanh bởi các vua từ nhiều miền, trang bị đủ mọi loại binh khí. Ngay sát phía sau Bhīmasena, vua Virāṭa và Drupada—vị đại xa chiến—đứng sẵn; một hình ảnh của đồng minh đồng lòng, khi phe chính nghĩa đang tụ lực cho trận chiến sắp tới.
