भीमसेनस्य प्रतिघातः—भगदत्तगजप्रहारः—घटोत्कचमायायुद्धम्

तदनन्तरमेवासीन्नीलो नीलायुथै: सह । नीलादनन्तरश्वैव धृष्टकेतुर्महाबल:,उनके बाद नील आयुधधारी सैनिकोंके साथ राजा नील और नीलके बाद महाबली धृष्टकेतु खड़े हुए
tadanantaram evāsīn nīlo nīlāyudhaiḥ saha | nīlād anantaraś caiva dhṛṣṭaketūr mahābalaḥ ||
Sañjaya thuật lại: Ngay sau đó, vua Nīla vào vị trí, đi cùng đoàn quân mang binh khí sắc xanh; và sau Nīla, dũng tướng Dhṛṣṭaketu cũng đứng sẵn. Câu kệ tiếp tục nêu tên các chiến sĩ theo trật tự, nhấn mạnh sự chuẩn bị nghiêm cẩn và ý chí kiên định khi các đạo quân dàn hàng cho trận chiến sắp tới.
