भीमसेनस्य प्रतिघातः—भगदत्तगजप्रहारः—घटोत्कचमायायुद्धम्

अर्धचन्द्रेण व्यूहेन व्यूहं तमतिदारुणम् । दक्षिणं शुड्रमास्थाय भीमसेनो व्यरोचत
sañjaya uvāca | ardhacandreṇa vyūhena vyūhaṃ tam atidāruṇam | dakṣiṇaṃ śṛṅgam āsthāya bhīmaseno vyarocata ||
Sañjaya thưa: Với trận thế hình bán nguyệt, họ đối diện trận đồ vô cùng khốc liệt ấy. Ở cánh phải—mũi nhọn phải—Bhīmasena chiếm vị trí và rạng ngời.
