एह्टीहि मे विप्रतीप स्पर्धसे त्वं मया सह । यदि मां नाधिगच्छेथा न ते श्रेयो ध्रुवं भवेत्
ehi me vipratīpa spardhase tvaṃ mayā saha | yadi māṃ nādhigacchethā na te śreyo dhruvaṃ bhavet ||
Sañjaya nói: “Lại đây, Karṇa! Ngươi đã lâu nay trái ý và tranh chấp với ta, luôn ganh đua đối địch. Nếu hôm nay ngươi không đến gặp ta, thì phúc lợi của ngươi ắt hẳn chẳng thể được bảo toàn.”
