Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

तस्माद्‌ ये वै प्रयच्छन्ति सुवर्ण धर्मदर्शिन: । देवतास्ते प्रयच्छन्ति समस्ता इति नः श्रुतम्‌

tasmād ye vai prayacchanti suvarṇaṃ dharmadarśinaḥ | devatās te prayacchanti samastā iti naḥ śrutam ||

Vì thế, những người sáng suốt trong dharma mà bố thí vàng được nói là đã cúng dường đến tất cả chư thiên cùng một lúc. Đó là lời dạy chúng ta nhận được theo truyền thống—bố thí vàng được xem như một hành vi hiến cúng bao trùm, tôn vinh trật tự thiêng liêng bằng lòng hào hiệp.
