Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
देवपक्षचरा: सौम्या: प्राजापत्या महर्षय: । आप्नवन्ति तपश्चैव ब्रह्मचर्य परं तथा
devapakṣacarāḥ saumyāḥ prājāpatyā maharṣayaḥ | āpnavanti tapaś caiva brahmacarya-paraṃ tathā ||
Vasiṣṭha nói: “Nguyện cho các đại hiền triết này, sinh trong dòng dõi Prajāpati, có bản tính nhu hòa, luôn đứng về phía chư thiên, và đạt được sức mạnh phát sinh từ khổ hạnh cùng sự giữ gìn brahmacarya ở mức tối thượng (nếp sống thanh tịnh, tiết chế, có kỷ luật).”
