Suvarṇa-dāna: Kārttikeya’s Origin and the Defeat of Tāraka (सुवर्णदान-प्रसङ्गे कार्त्तिकेय-उत्पत्ति तथा तारकवधः)
दिव्यवादित्रसंघुष्टे दिव्यस्त्रीचारणावृते । इन्द्र: पप्रच्छ देवेशमभिवाद्य प्रणम्य च
divyavāditrasaṅghuṣṭe divyastrīcāraṇāvṛte | indraḥ papraccha deveśam abhivādya praṇamya ca ||
Bhishma nói: “Trong hội chúng thiên giới ấy—vang dội tiếng nhạc khí thần diệu, lại được bao quanh bởi các tiên nữ và các Cāraṇa—Indra đến gần Đấng Chúa Tể của chư thần. Trước hết, Indra kính cẩn chào và cúi lạy, rồi mới thưa câu hỏi.” Cảnh này nhấn mạnh rằng ngay cả vị vua tối cao của chư thiên cũng tìm sự chỉ dạy bằng lòng khiêm cung, phép tắc đúng mực và sự tôn kính đối với uy quyền tâm linh.
