Go-dāna-stuti and Ghṛta-Japa
Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
गोप्रदानीति वक्तव्यमर्घ्यवस्त्रवसुप्रद: । ऊर्ध्वास्या भवितव्या च वैष्णवीति च चोदयेत्
bhīṣma uvāca | gopradānīti vaktavyam arghyavastravasupradaḥ | ūrdhvāsyā bhavitavyā ca vaiṣṇavīti ca codayet ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Người ấy phải được xướng danh chính thức là ‘người bố thí bò’, và là người ban tặng lễ vật đáng tôn kính, y phục và của cải. Cũng phải khuyến khích người ấy ngẩng mặt lên (với niềm tin cát tường), và được gọi, được động viên là ‘Vaiṣṇavī’—kẻ một lòng quy hướng Viṣṇu.”
