Phala of Vrata, Niyama, Svādhyāya, Dama, Satya, Brahmacarya, and Service (व्रत-नियम-स्वाध्याय-दम-सत्य-ब्रह्मचर्य-शुश्रूषा-फलप्रश्नः)
क्षीरस्रवा वै सरितो गिरीश्व सर्पिस्तथा विमलं चापि तोयम् । वैवस्वतस्यानुमतांश्न देशा- नदृष्टपूर्वान् सुबहूनपश्यम्
kṣīrasravā vai sarito girīśva sarpistathā vimalaṃ cāpi toyam | vaivasvatasya anumataṃś ca deśān adṛṣṭapūrvān subahūn apaśyam ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Ta đã thấy những dòng sông chảy bằng sữa, những dãy núi, lại thấy cả bơ tinh luyện (ghee) và dòng nước trong sạch tuyệt đối. Và với sự cho phép của Vaivasvata (Yama), ta được chiêm ngưỡng nhiều miền đất mà trước đó chưa từng thấy.”
