भीष्म उवाच इत्येष लक्षणोद्ेश: प्रोक्तो नक्षत्रयोगत: । देवक्या नारदेनेह सा स्नुषाभ्यो5ब्रवीदिदम्‌

bhīṣma uvāca ity eṣa lakṣaṇoddeśaḥ prokto nakṣatrayogataḥ | devakyā nāradenaiha sā snuṣābhyo 'bravīd idam ||

Bhishma nói: “Như vậy, lời chỉ dẫn ngắn gọn về các đặc điểm đã được nêu ra, tùy theo những sự phối hợp của các nakṣatra (chòm sao theo lịch trăng). Tại đây, Devakī, được Nārada chỉ dạy, đã nói những lời này với các nàng dâu của mình.”
