भरणीषु द्विजातिभ्यस्तिलधेनु प्रदाय वै । गा: सुप्रभूता: प्राप्नोति नर: प्रेत्य यशस्तथा
bharaṇīṣu dvijātibhyas tiladhenuṃ pradāya vai | gāḥ suprabhūtāḥ prāpnoti naraḥ pretya yaśas tathā ||
Nārada nói: “Dưới nguyệt tú Bharaṇī, nếu một người dâng cho hàng ‘nhị sinh’ (đặc biệt là các brāhmaṇa) ‘bò bằng mè’—một lễ vật nghi thức kết từ hạt mè—thì ở đời này người ấy được nhiều bò, và sau khi chết cũng đạt danh tiếng lớn lao.”
