गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

ते चापि सदृशं वर्ण जनयन्ति स्वयोनिषु | परस्परस्य दारेषु जनयन्ति विगर्हितान्
te cāpi sadṛśaṃ varṇaṃ janayanti svayoniṣu | parasparasya dāreṣu janayanti vigarhitān |
Bhīṣma nói: “Những kẻ sinh từ các đẳng cấp pha trộn, khi kết hợp trong chính hạng của mình, cũng sinh ra con cái có địa vị (pha trộn) tương tự. Nhưng nếu họ quan hệ với vợ của nhau—những phụ nữ thuộc các nhóm khác—thì con cái sinh ra bị xem là đáng chê trách hơn cả chính họ.”
