Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa

On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation

पर्याये तात कम्मिंश्रिद्‌ ब्राह्मण्यमिह विन्दति । ब्राह्मण जो-जो जिस प्रकार करना चाहता है

śakra uvāca | paryāye tāta kasmiṃś cid brāhmaṇyam iha vindati | tāta jīvaḥ asya jagataḥ antar anekāsu yoniṣu bhraman bāhulyena janma labhate | evaṃ janma-janmāntareṣu kadācit sa brāhmaṇatvaṃ prāpnoti |

Śakra (Indra) nói: “Hỡi con yêu, theo dòng thời gian, một hữu tình trong thế gian này sẽ đạt đến địa vị Bà-la-môn vào một bước ngoặt nào đó. Lang thang trong cõi đời, đi qua nhiều thai tạng và nhiều hình thức sinh, ngã có thân cứ sinh rồi lại sinh. Vì thế, sau những lần tái sinh liên tiếp, đến một lúc nào đó nó sẽ đạt được trạng thái Bà-la-môn.”
