उपस्पृश्य फल कि स्यात्तेषु तीर्थेषु वै मुने । प्रेत्यभावे महाप्राज्ञ तद् यथास्ति तथा वद
upaspṛśya phalaṁ ki syāt teṣu tīrtheṣu vai mune | pretyabhāve mahāprajña tad yathāsti tathā vada ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Bạch hiền giả, tắm gội tại những bến thiêng (tīrtha) ấy thì sau khi chết được quả báo gì? Bậc đại trí, xin nói đúng như sự thật đang là—kết quả sau khi lìa đời của việc tắm tīrtha ấy là gì.”
