कृताशं कृतनिर्देशं कृतभक्तं कृतश्रमम्‌ । भेदैयें व्यपकर्षन्ति ते वै निरयगामिन:

Transliteration

kṛtāśaṃ kṛtanirdeśaṃ kṛtabhaktaṃ kṛtaśramam | bhedair enaṃ vyapakarṣanti te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma nói: Kẻ nào gieo rắc chia rẽ để đẩy một người đầy tớ chăm chỉ—đã được thuê bằng tiền công, được hứa hẹn trả công và ấn định thời hạn—ra khỏi sự phục vụ của chủ trước khi hết hạn ấy, ắt hẳn bị đọa địa ngục. Lời dạy này lên án việc bóc lột lao động bằng mưu mô và gian trá như một sự vi phạm dharma nghiêm trọng.
