Gṛhastha-Vrata
निष्क्रान्ते मयि कल्याणि तथा संनिहिते5नघे । नातिथिस्ते5वमन्तव्य: प्रमाणं यद्यहं तव
niṣkrānte mayi kalyāṇi tathā saṃnihite ’naghe | nātithis te ’vamantavyaḥ pramāṇaṃ yady ahaṃ tava ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi người nữ cát tường, hỡi người trong sạch—dù ta đã rời đi hay vẫn ở gần đây, nàng tuyệt đối chớ khinh mạn vị khách (atithi). Nếu nàng lấy ta làm chuẩn mực, thì hãy lấy điều này làm luật: không được làm nhục hay thất lễ với khách trong bất cứ hoàn cảnh nào.”
