कला: काष्ठा लवा मात्रा मुहूर्ताहःक्षपा: क्षणा: । विश्वेक्षेत्र प्रजाबीज॑ लिड्रमाद्यस्तु निर्गम:
vāyudeva uvāca | kalāḥ kāṣṭhā lavā mātrā muhūrtāhaḥkṣapāḥ kṣaṇāḥ | viśvakṣetraṁ prajābījaṁ liṅgam ādyas tu nirgamaḥ ||
Vāyudeva nói: “Kalā, kāṣṭhā, lava, mātrā, muhūrta, ngày và đêm, cùng kṣaṇa—đó là những thước đo và phân đoạn của Thời gian. Ngài là chỗ nương của vũ trụ, như nền đất của cây vũ trụ; Ngài là nhân-chủng, hạt giống nguyên nhân của mọi loài; Ngài là ‘liṅga’ vi tế, dấu hiệu để suy biết cái vô hiển; và Ngài là đấng xuất hiện đầu tiên trong công cuộc sáng tạo.”
