नतु वक्षिन्नयेत् प्राज्ञो गृहीत्वैव करे नरम् । उच्यमानस्तु धर्मेण धर्मलोकभयच्छले
na tu vakṣy nayed prājño gṛhītvāiva kare naram | ucyamānas tu dharmeṇa dharmalokabhayacchale ||
Bhishma nói: Dẫu là bậc trí giả chân chính cũng không thể nắm tay một người mà cưỡng ép họ bước lên con đường dharma. Nhưng bằng lời nói hợp với lẽ công bằng—viện dẫn dharma, thậm chí nêu cả nỗi sợ bị công luận chê trách—người ấy có thể khuyên thúc họ hướng về hạnh kiểm chính trực.
