रौद्ररूपोंडशुरादित्यो बहुरश्मि: सुवर्चसी । वसुवेगो महावेगो मनोवेगो निशाचर:
raudrarūpo 'ṃśur ādityo bahuraśmiḥ suvarcasī | vasuvego mahāvego manovego niśācaraḥ ||
Vāyu-deva nói: “Ngài mang hình tướng dữ dội, khiến người kính sợ; Ngài là một tia sáng rực, là Āditya (Mặt Trời), mang vô số quang tuyến và đầy vẻ huy hoàng. Tốc độ của Ngài như gió—thậm chí còn hơn—nhanh như ý nghĩ, và Ngài du hành trong đêm.”
