व्यजयच्छत्रुसंघांश्व देवानां स्वेन तेजसा । अत्रिणा दह्ामानांस्तान् दृष्टवा देवा महासुरान्
vyajayac chatrusaṅghāṁś ca devānāṁ svena tejasā | atriṇā dahyamānāṁs tān dṛṣṭvā devā mahāsurān |
Bhīṣma nói: “Bằng chính hào quang khổ hạnh của mình, Atri đã khuất phục các đạo quân thù địch của chư thiên. Thấy những đại asura bị thiêu đốt bởi uy lực của Atri, chư thiên—được ngài che chở—liền phô bày dũng lực và giết sạch bọn daitya. Như vậy, Atri làm cho Mặt Trời rực rỡ trở lại, cứu chư thiên khỏi hiểm nạn và đưa asura đến chỗ diệt vong.”
