तदा तान् दुःखितान् ज्ञात्वा आनृशंस्यपरो मुनि: । अयत्नेनादहत् सर्वान् खलिन: स्वेन तेजसा
tadā tān duḥkhitān jñātvā ānṛśaṃsyaparo muniḥ | ayatnenādahat sarvān khalinaḥ svena tejasā ||
Bhishma nói: Khi ấy, vị hiền triết đứng đầu về lòng từ mẫn, biết họ đang khổ sở, liền ban cho họ sự vô úy; và không cần chút gắng sức nào, ngài dùng chính uy quang tâm linh của mình thiêu rụi hết thảy bọn quỷ thần mang tên Khalin.
