सोमपो<मृतप: सोम: पुरुजित् पुरुसत्तम: । विनयो जय: सत्यसंधो दाशार्ह: सात्वतां पति:
bhīṣma uvāca | somapo'mṛtapāḥ somaḥ purujit puruṣottamaḥ | vinayo jayaḥ satyasaṃdho dāśārhaḥ sātvatāṃ patiḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Ngài là Đấng uống Soma; là Đấng uống cam lộ bất tử; và chính Ngài là Soma. Ngài là bậc chinh phục muôn người, là Đấng Tối Thượng. Ngài là kỷ cương—kẻ khiến ác nhân phải khuất phục và bị chế ngự; Ngài là Chiến Thắng tự thân. Ngài tuyệt đối trung tín với lời thệ nguyện. Sinh trong dòng Dāśārha, Ngài là chúa tể của Sātvata (Yādava) và là chủ của những người sùng kính Ngài.
