अमृत्यु: सर्वदृक्‌ सिंह: संधाता सन्धिमान्स्थिर: । अजो दुर्मर्षण: शास्ता विश्रुतात्मा सुरारिहा

Transliteration

amṛtyuḥ sarvadṛk siṁhaḥ saṁdhātā sandhimān sthiraḥ | ajo durmarṣaṇaḥ śāstā viśrutātmā surārihā ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Ngài là đấng bất tử, thấy biết tất cả; là sư tử tiêu diệt kẻ ác. Ngài là Đấng Định Liệu, gắn chúng sinh với quả báo của nghiệp mình; là Đấng thọ hưởng thành tựu của tế lễ và khổ hạnh; luôn vững bền, không đổi thay. Không sinh, không thể kháng cự; là bậc cai trị và trừng giới muôn loài; danh tiếng hiển lộ trong Veda và śāstra; và là đấng diệt trừ kẻ thù của chư thiên.
