शड्खभृन्नन्दकी चक्री शार्ज्धन्वा गदाधर: । रथाड्रपाणिरक्षोभ्य: सर्वप्रहरणायुध:

śaṅkhabhṛn nandakī cakrī śārṅgadhanvā gadādharaḥ | rathāṅgapāṇir akṣobhyaḥ sarvapraharaṇāyudhaḥ ||

Bhīṣma nói: Ngài mang ốc tù và; cầm kiếm Nandaka; mang đĩa thần; cầm cung Śārṅga; và là bậc mang chùy. Ngài chính là Đấng, để giữ trọn một lời thệ, đã cầm bánh xe chiến xa trong tay; bất động, không thể khuấy chuyển; và trang bị mọi loại binh khí. Bài kệ ca ngợi Chúa Tể luôn sẵn sàng hành động quyết liệt vì chính pháp và để che chở những ai nương tựa nơi Ngài, dẫu phải vượt qua sự kiềm chế thường tình.
