आधारनिलयोअ<थधाता पुष्पहास: प्रजागर: । ऊर्ध्वग: सत्पथाचार: प्राणद: प्रणव: पण:
bhīṣma uvāca | ādhāra-nilayo 'dhātā puṣpa-hāsaḥ prajāgaraḥ | ūrdhva-gaḥ satpathācāraḥ prāṇa-daḥ praṇavaḥ paṇaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Ngài là nơi nương trú và chỗ nâng đỡ của mọi hữu tình; tự hữu, không có đấng tạo tác nào ở trên Ngài. Luôn tỉnh thức, trọn vẹn cảnh giác, Ngài rạng ngời với nụ cười dịu như hoa nở. Ngự trên tất cả, Ngài thân hiện và gìn giữ nề nếp của con đường chính trực. Ngài ban sự sống—thậm chí khiến kẻ đã ngã xuống được hồi sinh—và Ngài chính là âm tiết thiêng Om, Đấng đối đãi với muôn loài bằng sự đo lường hoàn toàn thích đáng và công chính.
