विहायसगतिर्ज्योति: सुरुचि तभुग् विभु: । रविर्विरोचन: सूर्य: सविता रविलोचन:
vihāyasagatir jyotiḥ suruciḥ hutabhuk vibhuḥ | ravir virocanaḥ sūryaḥ savitā ravilocanaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Ngài là Đấng đi qua bầu trời, tự chiếu sáng, rực rỡ mỹ lệ; là Đấng ăn lễ vật (trong hình tướng Lửa), khắp nơi hiện hữu. Ngài là Ravi—Mặt Trời hút lấy tinh chất; là Virocana—Đấng tỏa ánh sáng muôn cách; là Sūrya—Đấng hiển lộ vẻ huy hoàng; là Savitṛ—Đấng thúc đẩy và sinh thành vũ trụ; và là Đấng có đôi mắt là Mặt Trời.
