सत्त्ववान् सात्त्विक: सत्य: सत्यधर्मपरायण: । अभिप्राय: प्रियाहों5र्ह: प्रियकृत् प्रीतिवर्धन:
sattvavān sāttvikaḥ satyaḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ | abhiprāyaḥ priyāhaḥ arhaḥ priyakṛt prītivardhanaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Ngài đầy đủ nội lực và phẩm hạnh; mang bản tính sāttvika; chính là chân thật—người nói lời chân thật và nương vững nơi dharma. Ngài là mục đích được người yêu mến hằng mong; xứng đáng nhận dâng hiến điều quý yêu nhất; đáng được tôn kính bởi muôn loài; làm điều đẹp lòng các tín đồ; và làm tăng trưởng tình yêu của những ai yêu Ngài.
