Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
व्यभ्रं च गगनं सद्यः क्षणेन समपद्यत । तीर्थयात्रां ततो विप्रा जग्मुश्नान्ये यथागतम्
vyabhraṃ ca gaganaṃ sadyaḥ kṣaṇena samapadyata | tīrthayātrāṃ tato viprā jagmuḥ anye yathāgatam ||
Nārada nói: “Và ngay tức khắc, chỉ trong một khoảnh khắc, bầu trời quang đãng—không còn mây. Rồi các brāhmaṇa rời nơi ấy lên đường hành hương đến các bến thiêng, còn những người khác thì trở về như lúc họ đã đến.”
