भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival
समुत्पत्स्यति गोविन्दो मनोर्वशे महात्मन: । अड्ढजी नाम मनो: पुत्रो अन्तर्थामा ततः पर:
samutpatsyati govindo manor vaṁśe mahātmanaḥ | aṅgo nāma manoḥ putro ’ntardhāmā tataḥ paraḥ ||
Īśvara phán: “Govinda sẽ xuất hiện (giáng sinh) trong dòng dõi của đại hồn Manu. Manu sẽ có một người con tên Aṅga; và sau đó sẽ có hậu duệ mang tên Antardhāmā.” Trong mạch văn, đoạn này trình bày một phả hệ mang tính thiên định: sự giáng thế của Đấng Chúa được đặt trong một vương tộc được tinh luyện bởi dharma, nhằm nâng đỡ chư thiên và phục hồi trật tự chính nghĩa.
