Brahmapūjā-kāraṇa-prśnaḥ and Keśava–Viṣvaksena-stuti
Question on Brahmin veneration; hymn on Kṛṣṇa as cosmic order
ददाति वा दास्यति वा महां दत्तमनेन वा | इत्यर्थिभ्यो निशम्यैव सर्व दातव्यमर्थिने
dadāti vā dāsyati vā mahāṁ dattam anena vā | ity arthibhyo niśamyaiva sarvaṁ dātavyam arthine ||
Bhishma nói: “Chỉ cần nghe từ miệng những kẻ cầu xin các lời như: ‘Người ấy hay bố thí’, ‘Người ấy sẽ bố thí’, hoặc ‘Người ấy đã ban cho ta một lễ vật lớn’, thì—mong làm tăng danh tiếng tốt đẹp của mình—người ta nên ban cho mỗi kẻ đến xin, đúng theo điều họ mong muốn, bất cứ thứ gì họ cầu.”
