Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अर्थात् प्रियतरत्वं च सर्वलोकेषु वै तदा । प्राप्तवानेव राजेन्द्र सुवर्णक्षान्महेश्वरात्
arthāt priyataratvaṃ ca sarvalokeṣu vai tadā | prāptavāneva rājendra suvarṇakṣān maheśvarāt, bharatanandana |
Bhīṣma nói: Vì thế, tâu Đại vương, khi ấy Ngài đạt đến địa vị được yêu mến nhất trong mọi thế giới—như thể chính từ Mahēśvara mà nhận lấy. Hỡi niềm vui của dòng Bharata, người ta kể rằng thuở xưa, sau khi làm Mahādeva hoan hỷ tại Badarikāśrama, Kṛṣṇa đã nhận từ Đại Chúa có thiên nhãn một sự “được yêu mến” vượt trên mọi thành tựu; do đó Ngài trở thành bậc được yêu mến nhất của muôn loài trong mọi cõi.
