भूमिदान-प्रसङ्गः । काश्यपी-पृथिवी तथा उतथ्य-वरुण-संवादः

यावच्च जायते मर्त्यस्तावच्छूरो भविष्यति । वह अपने सारे पापोंको धो डालता है और परलोकमें आधिपत्य प्राप्त करता है। फिर जब वह मनुष्ययोनिमें जन्म लेता है, तब शूरवीर होता है
yāvac ca jāyate martyas tāvac chūro bhaviṣyati |
Skanda tuyên bố: “Chừng nào con người còn tiếp tục sinh ra làm phàm nhân, chừng ấy họ sẽ nhiều lần tái sinh với khí phách anh hùng. Nhờ quả báo thanh tịnh của hạnh nghiệp, người ấy gột rửa mọi tội lỗi tích tụ, đạt quyền chủ tể ở đời sau; rồi khi trở lại sinh làm người, lại được ban cho dũng khí và tâm thế của bậc trượng phu.”
