Sāma (Sāntva) and Dāna: The Brāhmaṇa’s Conciliatory Release from a Rākṣasa
यदेव ददत: पुण्यं तदेव प्रतिगृह्नतः । न होकचक्रं वर्तेत इत्येवमृषयों विदु:
yad eva dadataḥ puṇyaṃ tad eva pratigṛhṇataḥ | na hokacakraṃ varteta ity evam ṛṣayo viduḥ ||
Maitreya nói: “Chính công đức phát sinh nơi người cho cũng được người nhận (một cách đúng pháp) thọ hưởng ngang bằng. Các bậc hiền triết hiểu rằng: nếu không như thế, bánh xe tương trợ lẫn nhau trong đời này đã chẳng thể vận hành.”
