मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

अहिंसानिरतो नित्यं जुह्नमानो जातवेदसम्‌ | षड्भिरेव स वर्षैस्तु सिध्यते नाज संशय:

ahiṃsā-nirato nityaṃ juhvamāno jātavedasam | ṣaḍbhir eva sa varṣais tu sidhyate nātra saṃśayaḥ ||

Bhīṣma nói: Ai luôn chuyên tâm vào bất bạo động, và mỗi ngày dâng lễ vật vào Jātavedas (ngọn lửa thiêng), thì chỉ trong sáu năm sẽ đạt thành tựu tâm linh—điều ấy không còn nghi ngờ.
