उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

षड्भि: स वर्षै्न॑पते सिध्यते नात्र संशय: । अग्निष्टोमस्य यज्ञस्य फल प्राप्नोति मानव:
ṣaḍbhiḥ sa varṣair nṛpate sidhyate nātra saṃśayaḥ | agniṣṭomasya yajñasya phalaṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ ||
Tâu đại vương, trong vòng sáu năm là thành tựu—không còn nghi ngờ. Nhờ vậy, con người đạt được quả báo của tế lễ Agniṣṭoma.
