नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
पतितो5पि महाराज भूतले स्मृतिमानभूत् । प्रसादयामास भृगुं शापान्तो मे भवेदिति
patito 'pi mahārāja bhūtale smṛtimān abhūt | prasādayāmāsa bhṛguṁ śāpānto me bhaved iti ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Dẫu đã ngã xuống mặt đất, hỡi đại vương, ông ta vẫn không mất sự tỉnh táo. Ông tìm cách làm nguôi lòng hiền triết Bhṛgu, nghĩ rằng: ‘Mong lời nguyền giáng lên ta được chấm dứt.’”
