नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा

Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings

कस्यचित्‌ त्वथ कालस्य भाग्यक्षय उपस्थिते । सर्वमेतदवज्ञाय कृतवानिदमीदृशम्‌

kasyacit tv atha kālasya bhāgyakṣaya upasthite | sarvam etad avajñāya kṛtavān idam īdṛśam ||

Nhưng rồi, sau một thời gian, khi thời khắc vận may của ông đến hồi cạn kiệt, ông đã khinh suất bỏ qua tất cả những điều ấy và bắt đầu dấn thân vào một đường lối tội lỗi như vậy.
