Educational Q&A

Dharma in ritual life is expressed through correct sequence and distinctness of offerings: each deity is honored with a specific, separate oblation, reflecting clarity, reverence, and adherence to prescribed rule (vidhi).

Vāyu is instructing about sacrificial procedure, listing the order in which oblations should be offered—Agni-Soma first, then the Viśvedevas, then Dhanvantari, and finally Prajāpati—emphasizing that each is to be offered separately.
