Householder Duties and Daily Offerings

तथैव चानुपूर्व्येण बलिकर्म प्रयोजयेत्‌ । दक्षिणायां यमायेति प्रतीच्यां वरुणाय च

tathaiva cānupūrvyena balikarma prayojayet | dakṣiṇāyāṃ yamāyeti pratīcyāṃ varuṇāya ca |

Vāyu nói: “Cũng như thế, hãy cử hành lễ bali theo đúng thứ tự—dâng cho Yama ở phương Nam và cho Varuṇa ở phương Tây.” Lời dạy đặt hành vi nghi lễ vào một vũ trụ đạo lý có trật tự: thủ tục nghiêm cẩn và lòng kính trọng đối với các vị hộ phương nâng đỡ dharma của gia đình và sự an hòa của xã hội.
