Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It teaches that true Linga-pūjā is not only external offering but also constant remembrance (anusmaraṇa) of Tryambaka, making worship a continuous inner discipline.
Shiva is invoked as Tryambaka, the auspicious Pati who purifies and sustains—‘fragrant’ as the subtle marker of sanctity—and who grants puṣṭi (spiritual and worldly nourishment) to the paśu when approached with devotion.
A blend of pūjā-vidhi and dhyāna: worship performed while continuously meditating on Shiva’s form/name (Tryambaka), a key Pāśupata-oriented method of transforming outer rite into inner yogic offering.
