यं क्रन्दसी संयती विह्वयेते परेऽवरे उभया अमित्राः । समानं चिद् रथमातस्थिवांसा नाना हवेते स जनास इन्द्रः

IAST Transliteration

yáṃ krándasī saṃyatī́ vihváyete páre ’váre ubháyā́ amítrāḥ | samānáṃ cid rátham ā́tasthivā́ṃsāu nā́nā havete sá janāsa índraḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Whom the two roaring hosts, when joined in onset, invoke—both parties, foes, the farther and the nearer; though mounted on the self-same chariot, they call on him diversely: he, O peoples, is Indra.

Translation

Hai đạo quân gầm vang, khi xáp trận giao phong, đều khẩn cầu vị ấy—cả bên xa lẫn bên gần, đôi phía thù địch đều cùng kêu gọi. Dẫu cùng đứng trên một cỗ chiến xa, họ vẫn gọi Ngài bằng những danh xưng khác nhau: hỡi muôn dân, Ngài ấy chính là Indra.
