यस्ते मदो युज्यश्चारुरस्ति येन वृत्राणि हर्यश्व हंसि । स त्वामिन्द्र प्रभूवसो ममत्तु

IAST Transliteration

yás te mádo yújyaś cā́rur ásti yéna vṛtrā́ṇi haryáśva háṃsi | sá tvām indra prabhūvaso mamattu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

That exhilaration of thine which is fit for use and gracious, whereby, O tawny-horsed, thou smitest down the obstructions—let that, O Indra, lord of ample wealth, intoxicate thee.

Translation

Cơn hứng khởi của ngài—thích hợp để dùng và đáng ưa—nhờ đó, hỡi Đấng có ngựa vàng, ngài đánh gục các chướng ngại (Vṛtra). Cầu cho chính cơn hứng khởi ấy, hỡi Indra, Chúa tể của của cải dồi dào, làm ngài say.
