ततस्ते दुःखिताः सर्वे ययुः पितरमन्तिकम् । ऊचुश्च वचनं छेदं मृगहिंसामृते मुने ॥ ४१.२२ ॥

پھر وہ سب غمگین ہو کر اپنے باپ کے پاس گئے اور مُنی سے یہ بات کہی کہ ہم نے کاٹنے اور جانوروں کی ہنسا سے پرہیز اختیار کیا ہے۔
