इह जन्मनि सौभाग्यं धनं धान्यं वरस्त्रियः । भवन्ति विविधा यस्तु उपोष्य विधिना ततः ॥ ३९.७५ ॥

iha janmani saubhāgyaṃ dhanaṃ dhānyaṃ varastriyaḥ | bhavanti vividhā yastu upoṣya vidhinā tataḥ || 39.75 ||

جو شخص اس کے بعد مقررہ طریقے کے مطابق اوپواس کرتا ہے، اسے اسی زندگی میں خوش بختی، دولت، اناج اور بہترین عورتیں (رفیقہ کے طور پر) طرح طرح سے حاصل ہوتی ہیں۔
