असंभाष्याः प्रतिग्राह्या शूद्रास्ते पापकर्मणः ॥ पिबन्ति यावत्कपिलां तावत्तेषां पितामहः ॥
asaṃbhāṣyāḥ pratigrāhyā śūdrās te pāpa-karmaṇaḥ || pibanti yāvat kapilāṃ tāvat teṣāṃ pitāmahaḥ ||
بدکردار وہ شودر نہ گفتگو کے لائق ہیں اور نہ ہی بطورِ عطیہ دہندہ قابلِ قبول۔ جب تک وہ کپیلا گائے کو ‘پیتے’ ہیں (یعنی اس سے انتفاع/ملکیت رکھتے ہیں)، تب تک ان کا پِتامَہ (جدِّ اعلیٰ) متاثر رہتا ہے۔
