यदा पादुकया विष्णुस्त्वां हनिष्यति संयुगे । तदैव मृत्युर्भविता नान्यथा मरणं तव
yadā pādukayā viṣṇustvāṃ haniṣyati saṃyuge | tadaiva mṛtyurbhavitā nānyathā maraṇaṃ tava
‘جب وِشنو جنگ میں پادُکا (جوتی) سے تجھ پر ضرب لگائے گا، تب ہی تیری موت واقع ہوگی؛ اس کے سوا تیرا مرنا کسی اور طرح نہیں ہوگا۔’
