Śiva (deduced ongoing narration within the same passage)
Tirtha: Prābhāsika-kṣetra (Prabhāsa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī
Scene: Nārada arrives at the auspicious Prabhāsa field at the dawn of Kali, sits near the liṅga in austere posture, matted hair and vīṇā set aside, surrounded by a charged, twilight-like atmosphere of yuga change.
Even in the onset of Kali-yuga, sages seek refuge in tīrthas; tapas performed at a sanctified liṅga-bearing site is portrayed as especially potent.
The auspicious Prābhāsika kṣetra—Prabhāsa—near the liṅga (contextually Kalkaleśvara).
Tapas (austerity/penance) performed in proximity to the liṅga is highlighted.
