dakṣiṇe sāgarastadvadbhadrā nadyuttare matā | evaṃ sīmāsamāyuktaṃ kṣetraṃ dvādaśayojanam

جنوب میں سمندر ہے، اور اسی طرح شمال میں بھدرَا ندی کو حد مانا گیا ہے۔ یوں ان سرحدوں سے آراستہ یہ مقدس کشتَر بارہ یوجن تک پھیلا ہوا ہے۔
