Transliteration

gṛhāṇamūlyaṃ padmānāṃ na gṛhītaṃ mayā hi tat | sāttvikaṃ bhāvamāsthāya sabhāryeṇa dvijottamāḥ

Translation

‘کنولوں کی قیمت لے لیجیے’—مگر میں نے وہ قبول نہ کی۔ ساتتوِک بھاؤ اختیار کر کے، اپنی زوجہ کے ساتھ، اے برہمنوں میں برتر، میں نے اسی پاک نیت کو قائم رکھا۔
