ईश्वर उवाच । वेदपादो यूपदंष्ट्रः क्रतुदंतःस्रुचीमुखः । अग्निजिह्वो दर्भरोमा ब्रह्मशीर्षा महातपाः

īśvara uvāca | vedapādo yūpadaṃṣṭraḥ kratudaṃtaḥsrucīmukhaḥ | agnijihvo darbharomā brahmaśīrṣā mahātapāḥ

اِیشور نے فرمایا: اُس کے قدم وید تھے؛ اُس کے دانتوں کے نوکدار دَمش یُوپ (یَجّیہ ستون) تھے؛ اُس کے دانت کرتو یعنی یَجّیہ کرم تھے؛ اُس کا مُنہ سُروچی (ہَوَن کا چمچ) تھا۔ اُس کی زبان اَگنی تھی؛ اُس کے رونگٹے دَربھ/کُشا گھاس تھے؛ اُس کا سر برہما تھا—وہ عظیم تپسیا والا تھا۔
